Privacy Notice
Last updated: 17 August 2026
This notice explains what happens to the details you send us through the tyre quote form on this website. We keep it short and plain.
Who we are
London Tyre Shop, 5 Elmdale Road, London N13 4UN, phone 020 8374 9404. We are responsible for the information you send us through this site.
What we collect
When you submit a quote request, we receive the details you type in: your name, phone number, and, if you provide them, your email address, vehicle registration, tyre size, number and type of tyres, and any notes.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
We use these details only to check availability, prepare a price, and contact you about your quote. Because you have asked us for a quote, UK data protection law lets us do this as a step taken at your request before a possible contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)); we keep normal business records of enquiries under our legitimate interests. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and nothing is loaded from Google when you simply browse the site. The interactive map on our homepage only loads from Google Maps if you tap “Load interactive map”, Google may set its own cookies at that point (see Google's privacy policy). The fonts on this site are served from our own website, not from Google.
Who processes it
The quote form is delivered to our email by Formspree, a form handling service, which passes your message on to us. Formspree is based in the USA, so your details are transferred there under safeguards recognised by UK law, see Formspree's privacy policy for details. Your enquiry then sits in our business email inbox.
If you choose to message us on WhatsApp (07854 903151), your messages are handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep quote enquiries only as long as needed to deal with your request and for our normal business records, then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the details we hold about you, correct them, delete them, restrict how we use them, object to our use of them, or give you a copy to take elsewhere. Just call 020 8374 9404 or reply to any email from us. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
